Just a short drive along the coast, No 9 West Shore offers the perfect place to come home to after each day at the golf.

Welcome to our fully renovated seafront home in Pittenweem, with the Fife Coastal Path at the front door. Cosy, stylish and unique, it sleeps 6 across three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, with open-plan living and stunning sea views.
On the ground floor, a double bedroom and shower room sit just two steps from the living area. Upstairs opens out to a second living room with stunning views, the perfect spot to relax with a book. Here you’ll also find a second double, a spacious king bedroom and a bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower.
Out back, a private garden with two lawns and a Kamado barbecue is made for long summer evenings. Out front, a bench faces the sea. The best seat in Pittenweem.
No 9 sits right in the middle of West Shore, in a prime spot on the seafront. You’ll know it by the two windows either side of the front door, with the West Wynd running down its right-hand side. Step outside and the shore path, rocks and tide are right in front of you.
Take the West Wynd up into the town centre for shops, cafés and local amenities. Or follow the path along the shore to the Pittenweem Tidal Pool, then up to West Braes for crazy golf, putting and a children’s play park.
Every morning and most evenings, breakfast and dinner are prepared in-house by our private chef, Louis Scott. After a long day following the golf, come home to the sea, pour a drink, and let the very best of Scotland come to your table.
Louis grew up in Fife and learned his craft in some of Scotland’s most celebrated kitchens. He spent two years at Ondine in Edinburgh, a regular in the UK’s top 100 restaurants, where he mastered every aspect of fish and seafood preparation. His time there included cooking for his food hero, Rick Stein, and the restaurant being named Scottish Restaurant of the Year 2018.
He then joined the opening team at The Fishmarket in Newhaven, a joint venture between Ondine and Welch Fishmongers, which was named Best Newcomer at the Scotsman Restaurant Awards and featured by Lonely Planet among the top 10 new food experiences in the world.
Louis went on to lead kitchens as Head Chef with the Signature Group, one of Scotland’s leading casual dining groups. Most recently, he was part of the team at Ardfern in Leith, the Michelin Bib Gourmand all-day dining spot from acclaimed chef Roberta Hall-McCarron.
Before he became a chef, Louis caddied on the Old Course at St Andrews. Ask him about it over dinner. He knows every bunker, every borrow and more than a few stories.
Louis knows Fife’s larder inside out. Over the years he has built close relationships with the region’s fishermen, farmers, growers and artisan producers, and he sources the finest seasonal ingredients from right on our doorstep. Expect lobster and crab landed in the East Neuk, Scottish beef and lamb, soft fruits and vegetables at their summer peak, and cheeses from local makers.
During the week, we’ll also take you out for dinner at two of the East Neuk’s favourite tables: The Kinneuchar Inn in Kilconquhar and The Dory Bistro on Pittenweem harbour.

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you’ll never need to think about getting around. Your personal chauffeur will collect you from anywhere in Scotland, take you to and from the golf each day, and return you anywhere in Scotland at the end of your stay.
On call around the clock all week, they’ll also act as your concierge, planning your trip just the way you want it, from tee times at the East Neuk’s finest courses to restaurant bookings and days out.
Golf isn’t for everyone, so partners and non-golfing guests can enjoy an itinerary all of their own, planned by your concierge with your driver on hand.
